One of our company’s strongest traits is commitment. We are committed to our clients, our team members, our industry and each other. Like most facilities and business, the recession met us quickly and dramatically in September 2008. Several large projects that were ready to start were cancelled or postponed. Our backlog was decimated within a matter of weeks and our revenue decreased by nearly 50%. It was our commitment to each other and our clients that allowed us to stay together while many companies reduced their staff. We know that our committed staff has been the key to our client relationship and our exceptional service, so instead of reducing staff we found alternatives to reduce our overhead cost while never sacrificing our commitment to our customers. In fact, we added services and hired new talented people. We strengthened our pre-construction and construction managements services. We accelerated our business development efforts because we knew the economy would improve.
